A SmartLab in Every Greeley-Evans School
SmartLab is committed to supporting the Greeley-Evans community’s mission to provide world-class learning opportunities for every student. Our collaboration with the Success Foundation, led by Julie Hill, and supported by Dr. Deirdre Pilch, Superintendent of Greeley-Evans School District 6 (and Colorado’s 2025 Superintendent of the Year!), focuses on providing equitable STEM education through hands-on, engaging programs that prepare students for their future. This collaboration aims to create learning experiences that inspire growth in the classroom and beyond.
Our collaboration with the Success Foundation provides equitable STEM education through hands-on, engaging programs that prepare students for their futures. The goal is to create learning engagements that inspire growth, both in the classroom and beyond.
Expanding Hands-On STEM Learning
We’re thrilled to celebrate the completion of SmartLab installations across all of District 6’s K-8 schools. With every elementary, middle, and K-8 school now equipped, Greeley-Evans has become a leading adopter of SmartLabs, providing expanded STEM opportunities for students. This incredible milestone means students can explore STEM through hands-on activities that spark creativity, build critical thinking, and prepare them for the future.
SmartLabs are designed to do more than just teach science and technology concepts. They provide students with a space to collaborate, solve problems, and take ownership of their learning. Whether it’s experimenting with robotics, exploring coding, or tackling engineering challenges, students are building real skills that are directly relevant to many future careers. These labs help bring learning to life, giving students a sense of agency and confidence as they explore STEM pathways.
Leadership and Community Support
The leadership of Julie Hill, Executive Director of the Success Foundation, along with Dr. Deirdre Pilch, Superintendent of Greeley-Evans School District, has been instrumental in making equitable STEM access a reality. In addition, partners like JBS have provided essential support to help bring SmartLabs to students across the district.
